Holga Camera company came about in 1982, designed by T.M. Lee in Hong Kong. Due to the wide availability of 120-roll film in mainland China at the time, the camera provided a means for those without large budgets to use a camera. While the momentum for the particular aesthetic that Holga cameras produce became more widely known, artist began using them. Since this discovery, the cameras have been used to produce prize winning art among many photographers. Models include: 120S (the original), 120SF (with flash), 135 (35mm), and K202 (Meow Kitty).
